Senator the Honourable Fazal Karim, Minister of Tertiary Education and Skills Training (MTEST), presented Certificates of Institutional Accreditation to the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute and the MIC Institute of Technology at The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago’s QuiTE Awards Ceremony on October 29, 2014 at the HYATT Regency, Trinidad.

This was a momentous event as The Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute became the first institution indigenous to Tobago to be conferred institutional accredited status. In addition, the MIC Institute of Technology is the first Technical Vocational Education and Training institution to be conferred institutional accredited status.
