ACTT's Quality Assurance Month. 2010

Quality Assurance Week was first introduced in September 2008. It was designed as a week of events to sensitise students and the public about the need for quality in higher education, to promote the services of ACTT, and to engage in discussion with various stakeholders about the role of higher education to meet national developmental needs and assisting in regional integration. In 2010 ACTT embarked on a monumental feat ‘Quality Assurance Month’, November 2010. As part of its public outreach initiatives, ACTT hosted a panel discussion, a credential fraud workshop, public displays on Brian Lara and Harris Promenades and other community outreach initiatives throughout Trinidad and Tobago. ACTT also distributed its Quality Assurance Month Supplement to various secondary schools, NALIS libraries and at events.

Quality Assurance Month culminated with the hosting of the 7th Annual International CANQATE Conference and Meeting held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) from November 23 to 26, 2011. View CANQATE Conference Booklet 2010.

In 2011, ACTT Quality Assurance Month will take place in October. Stay tuned for upcoming events.
