The National Qualifications Framework of Trinidad and Tobago (NQF-TT) was approved on May 19, 2022, by the Cabinet of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The NQF-TT is now being implemented by The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT), in collaboration with the National Training Agency (NTA).
The NQF-TT is intended to communicate the meaning and value of credentials to students, employers, institutions and all other interested stakeholders. It will also lead to the reform of the education sector, as institutions align their programmes with the standards of the framework and outline clearer pathways for learners to reach their educational goals.
